The Wes-Del varsity girls golf team opened its season yesterday at Tipton Municipal Golf Course, falling to Tipton 190–224. Addison Huffman led the Warriors with a 40, followed by Quinn Slopsema (57), Keira Banister (62), Ava Johnson (65), Ruthy Leman (66), and Annabelle Carter (69). The girls played great in their first match of the season! They battled hot and muggy conditions and even got rained on, but kept a great attitude throughout the match.
